REBATES
Private Health Insurance
At Body Osteopathy we have a HICAPS machine available which means if you have Osteopathy extras cover, you can make a claim right away and will only need to pay the gap. Please ensure you bring your private health insurance card with you to process the claim. If you would like to know how much rebate you receive, please contact your insurance provider as rebate amounts vary.
Medicare Care Plan-CDM Program
If your General Practitioner has issued you a Medicare care plan addressed to us here at Body Osteopathy for Osteopathic Treatments, we are able to process the Medicare rebate on the spot. Please bring in your care plan and Medicare card. Currently the rebate is approximately $53 which means you will only be out of pocket the gap payment for your relevant consultation.
TAC
If TAC has approved your claim and provided you with a claim number, you may be able to claim back a portion of the consultation cost through TAC. This can be done once the full payment for the relevant consultation has been has paid to the clinic.
WorkCover
If WorkCover has approved your claim and provided you with a claim number, you may be able to claim back a portion of the consultation cost through your WorkCover agency. This can be done once the full payment for the relevant consultation has been has paid to the clinic.
